Merry Christmas

I’d like to take the opportunity to wish all readers a very Merry Christmas!

There’s no doubt that many of us like to spend this festive time with family and friends, but wouldn’t it also be nice to have at least one Christmas where you get away to somewhere exotic?

Ok, if you really can’t stand the thought of not being with the family, then why not take them with you!

If you like the idea of travelling regularly to amazing exotic locations, ask yourself, if you could stay at 5 Star resorts, but only pay 1 Star prices, how cool would that be?

The great news is that you can!

Contact me, Tony, for an absolutely obligation free invitation to look at the Resorts 360 Vacation Club Membership Programme. That’s exactly what I did and I was very impressed – so impressed in fact, that I became an Authorised Distributor for the Travel Club Programme.

Christmas on a beach anyone?

The holiday accommodation prices and locations are so fantastic, that I can’t give you exact details here out of respect for our suppliers, but just as an example, how about a villa for 4 people for a whole week in Cancun, Mexico for around $250?

That’s not the nightly price as you’d expect, but the price for the villa for a whole week!

Resorts 360 also now has cruises at incredible discounts, not to mention car rentals!

Don’t just take my word for it – there are no hidden surprises – check it out yourself. Contact me for a link that will enable you to look at every offer available to our members.

If you’re curious, but want to have a sneaky peek without contacting me, then just have a look via my invitation website at www.bucketlistholidays.com

That one just gives you access to a generic site, but if you want to see the amazing new site that has just been upgraded with all of the latest deals, do yourself a favour and touch base with me so I can give you a link that will astonish you.

Until next time, have a relaxing and safe holiday season!

Perseverance is…

Dennis-Waitley

Dennis-Waitley

I first read one of Dennis Waitley’s books about a year after arriving in Australia, around 24 years ago.

It was ‘The Seeds of Greatness’ and it contained a lot of very useful lessons in life, many of which my wife and I applied in raising our two children.

I reminded myself recently of one of the key topics in that book that is one of the old truths. It is one that will remain a constant truth – that a key ingredient to success at anything is perseverence.

The following is an extract from Dennis’ book, which I highly recommend.

Persevere to Succeed

“Perseverance does not always mean sticking to the same thing forever. It means giving full concentration and effort to whatever you are doing, right now!

It means doing the tough things first and looking downstream for gratification and rewards. It means being happy in your work, but hungry for more knowledge and progress.

It means making more calls, going more miles, pulling more weeds, getting up earlier in the day and always being on the lookout for a better way of doing what you’re doing.

Perseverance is success through trial and error.”

Dennis Waitley – ‘Seeds of Greatness’

The picture above is of Torah Bright of Australia receiving her gold medal at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. To win gold or just to succeed at our own individual daily goals requires each of us in our own way to focus and put in effort.

Tony’s Viewpoint: “I am a firm believer in the importance of keeping sharper and more focused on the results you want out of your life, by taking time out to think and reflect on the things that you could be doing better.

Travelling to totally different places is one of my key goals in life, but there is a double benefit, because every time I go away I learn something new about myself in the process.

Perhaps for you, the ideas will flow when you are just sitting in the hotel swimming pool, sipping your favourite cocktail.

Whatever works best for you – dream big and make it happen!”

One of the projects in which I am now involved is a Vacation Club called Resorts 360, which enables you to stay in 5 star resorts around the world, paying as low as 1 star prices.

If you like the sound of that idea and would like some no obligation information on the amazing deals available to you right now, simply contact Tony to receive an overview.

That’s right – you are not being asked to buy anything – this is just to give you the information.

Furthermore, this Vacation Club also has an income producing opportunity available as well, should you be in need of some extra holiday funds.

I hope to hear from you, but until next time, “Persevere in the pursuit of your dreams!”

To the rest of the world watching…

Oprah Winfrey loved Australia

Oprah Winfrey

“To the rest of the world watching, you have got to come to Australia,” said Oprah Winfrey during filming of her show from the Sydney Opera House in December 2010.

The Queen of Entertainment summed up her experiences Down Under with a huge thumbs up for the Lucky Country, when she screamed to her audience of 6000 guests at Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure show, “I love Australia, I love Australia, I love Australia,”.

Oprah Winfrey has been reported to be one of the richest, if not the richest, and most influential women in the world today.

Love her or hate her (though I find it hard to imagine why you would), she has been, and continues to be, one of the most profoundly inspirational characters of our era.

Like most high achievers though, Oprah has an amazing story – one that has shaped the great charismatic figure though hardship and struggle.

Winfrey was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a teenage single mother and later raised in an inner-city Milwaukee neighborhood. She experienced considerable hardship during her childhood, including being raped at the age of nine and becoming pregnant at 14; her son died in infancy.

Sent to live with the man she calls her father, a barber in Tennessee, Winfrey landed a job in radio while still in high school and began co-anchoring the local evening news at the age of 19. Her emotional ad-lib delivery eventually got her transferred to the daytime talk show arena, and after boosting a third-rated local Chicago talk show to first place she launched her own production company, Harpo, and she became internationally syndicated.

Credited with creating a more intimate confessional form of media communication, Oprah is thought to have popularized and revolutionized the tabloid talk show.

By the mid 1990s, she had reinvented her show with a focus on literature, self-improvement, and spirituality. Though criticized for unleashing confession culture and promoting controversial self-help fads, she is often praised for overcoming adversity to become a benefactor to others.

From 2006 to 2008, her support of Barack Obama, by one estimate, delivered over a million votes in the close 2008 Democratic primary race, to aid his achievement in becoming the first African American President.

Oprah’s programmes have made her an iconic figure across the globe and along with her work for charitable institutions, she has been acclaimed as one of the greatest philanthropists in American History, if not World History.

tony-sydney-harbour-bridgeTony’s Viewpoint: I am always fascinated and inspired by people who overcome adversity and pursue their dreams with single-minded determination – especially when the achievement of them is of such incredible benefit to so many other people in the world.

To think that your own vision for your future can impact so magnificently on the lives of people you may never even meet, is truly uplifting.

In Oprah’s early days, she used to annoy me when interviewing, because I felt that she wanted to answer her own questions before her guests could! Since then, though she has learned so much and helped so many, she is amazing.

One of Oprah’s key messages is that it is really important to find time to relax and nourish your spirit. If you need any help with finding work/life balance, feel free to contact me via this site.

The First Trick To Happiness – And Success…

Appreciate what you already have!

Here is a small excerpt from a book by Andrew Matthews, an amazingly talented guy whom I have been priviledged to hear and see presenting on stage many years ago in Perth.

***

What We Have

Imagine that we discovered life on Mars – even if it was only a tiny bug, or an ant with one leg…

The world would go crazy! Splashed across the front page of every newspaper would be headlines, “THERE”S LIFE OUT THERE!”

Scientists would be ecstatic, “Another species!”

Now here’s what’s strange…twenty-seven thousand of the earth’s species of birds, plants, animals and insects became extinct last year.

The story never made the headlines.

Our tigers and pandas and frogs are disappearing. Meanwhile, we look for signs of life in outer space!

How often do we overlook the great things we have – and go looking for new stuff?

We do the same thing in relationships!

When we finally realise what we had, it’s gone.

IN A NUTSHELL

The first trick to happiness – and success – is to appreciate what we’ve already got.

Andrew Matthews, from his book “Happiness Now”

Andrew has written numerous best sellers, including “Being Happy”, “Making Friends”, “Follow Your Heart”, “Being a Happy Teen”, “Happiness in a Nutshell”. His books have been translated into 33 languages and are bestsellers in 60 countries! He is a much sought after speaker around the world on attitude, achievement and prosperity.

Tony Inman Resorts 360Tony’s Viewpoint: I love the way a cartoonist can encapsulate an idea or a concept with a simple image and the exaggeration of caricature work. With Andrew’s work we are even more fortunate, because he writes and speaks well too.

Notice the cartoon shows a man relaxing in a hammock between palm trees with his favourite cocktail?

If you already know me, you’ll know that I’m going to advocate the importance of work/life balance, of realising and being thankful for the opportunities we already have.

I’m especially going to advocate the importance of setting goals to do the things that make you happy. For me, travel and holidays are a major part of that!

Ask me about the incredible opportunities for 5 star holidays at 1 star prices, available now, with membership of a Worldwide Vacation Club. It’s not time share, you’re not locked in and the prices have to be seen to be believed.

Contact me for a no obligation chat and some more information. It can save you a fortune and create memorable holiday experiences for you and your loved ones.

Until next time, enjoy happiness now and make the most of every day!

Dr Samuel Johnson

“Nothing will ever be attempted if all possible objections must first be overcome.”
Samuel Johnson

Samuel Johnson (1709– 1784), often referred to as Dr Johnson, was a British author who made lasting contributions to English Literature as a poet, essayist, moralist, literary critic, biographer, editor and lexicographer. He has been described as “arguably the most distinguished man of letters in English history” by the Oxford Dictionary of National Biographies.

Dr Johnson reminds of the need to avoid procrastination and to be wary of how sometimes a desire to do things perfectly can prevent us from simply getting on with things.

Life is actually quite short when you start thinking about all of the things you’d probably like to do during your lifetime if you had the chance.

tiger-moth-tony-2010Tony’s viewpoint: “I’ve always found that if you think about something that you’d like to do, or that needs to be done, if you write it down as a goal or a task to be performed, along with a deadline for achieving it, then remind yourself of it regularly, there is a far greater chance that you will accomplish it.

I always have long lists of ‘Things to Do’, but by listing them, I usually do work my way through them, like my goal of flying a Tiger Moth bi-plane.”

Idea: Find an hour to sit down quietly and write down all of the things you’d like to do, the places you’d like to visit, the people you’d like to meet.

If you want some ideas, contact Tony about the amazing holiday destinations you could visit, courtesy of the Resorts 360 Vacation Club. It costs nothing to have a look and there is no obligation to buy anything. You will be astonished at how easy it will be to achieve some of the things on your list!

Until the next time, stay positive and take positive action towards achieving your goals!

You Are The Master…

napoleon-hill

Napoleon Hill

“You are the master of your own earthly destiny just as surely as you have the power to control your own thoughts.”

Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill is a celebrated author of many books about success, motivation and positive thinking.

In this quote he reminds us that we can shape our own destiny by the way we think.

Thoughts are very powerful things. How many times do you witness a game of sport for example, where one team think they can win and the other team begins to doubt whether they can.

The second team start to show it in their body language – their heads drop, they look despondent. Accordingly their play begins to deteriorate as they lose that mental will to win.

tony-sydney-harbour-bridgeTony’s view: Everything that happens in your life is affected by the way you think.

Think positive thoughts and you will attract positive results!

Whenever things start to go wrong, I try to stop myself from reacting badly and think “How can I turn this around to a positive?”

One of the best ways to restore the positive in your life is to take some time to rest and recuperate. Have a change of scenery and a break away from the mudane things in life.

For me, I love travelling to different places and I love to go scuba diving around the world. For you it might be just lazing by a pool or it might be doing something adventurous.
